Mountain Rose Herbs Mercantile Opens New Seattle Store: A Must-Visit for Herbal Enthusiasts

This past weekend marked the much-anticipated opening of Mountain Rose Herbs Mercantile's Seattle store—their second physical location. It’s no surprise that Seattle was chosen as the perfect spot for this expansion, and the long line of eager customers waiting outside was clear proof. Seattle loves natural products, organic produce, and the potential power of plants to heal.

Mountain Rose Herbs Mercantile (MRHM) is one of my favorite online sources for herbs, spices, tinctures, teas, oils, and a wide range of supplies. They offer nearly every organic product you could imagine. I’ve ordered from them several times for my homemade beauty products, including calendula hand salve, rosemary hair oil, and tea tree shampoo, and never been disappointed. Their products are always of the highest quality, shipping is fast, and they offer a fantastic variety of items. Now, I’m even more excited to visit in person to smell and sample even more options!

The store itself is stunning, located in a charming brick building in the downtown area near Belltown. It perfectly captures the old Seattle charm, reminiscent of the city’s early days. Inside, you’ll find copper-tiled walls, warm amber lighting, vintage jars and scales, and handwritten signs that give the space a welcoming, nostalgic feel. The store is thoughtfully organized into different sections, including teas, culinary herbs and spices, aromatherapy, skincare, and even a space for artist talks.

I know I'll be visiting MRHM frequently, especially as we head into dry skin season. Whether I'm looking to pick up supplies or simply spend some time browsing, it’s the perfect spot. I’m excited to see if they’ll host more book signings and talks, and to try new products I’ve been curious about for a while, and try something new!
